Today, in the joyful and warm atmosphere of the upcoming Christmas season, the Social Work Group (CTXH) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Lac Hong University, carried out a heartfelt activity as part of its annual program for orphans at the Orphanage Center – Ha Noi Parish.
The group, consisting of lecturers and more than 20 students, organized a trip on the morning of December 23, 2023, with the aim of sharing love and bringing meaningful gifts to over 32 orphaned children at the center. This series of activities not only strengthens the connection between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Lac Hong University and the community, but also serves as an opportunity for all faculty members and students to express the spirit of unity and compassion: “What’s old for us is new for others – mutual care and support.”
Upon arrival, the group was warmly welcomed by Sister Vu Thi Kim Lien and other sisters. With support from benefactors both within and outside the university, the group gave the children clothes, milk, diapers, and candy. The students were not only gift-givers but also played the role of Santa Claus and organized fun games, filling the space with laughter and joy. The visit ended with meaningful souvenir photos that captured beautiful memories.
The happiness of the children, along with the joy seen on the faces of the lecturers, students, and sisters, made the visit truly meaningful. At the end of a day filled with love and humanity, the group returned to the Faculty of Pharmacy with joy in their hearts and the hope to continue accompanying future charitable activities.
