On behalf of the University’s Board of Rectors, PhD Lam Thanh Hien delivered an inspiring message to students: As they begin their university journey, they must define clear goals, because having goals provides the determination needed to overcome challenges and achieve academic success.

PhD Nguyen Van Tan then introduced the organizational structure of FAIE and warmly welcomed the freshmen to join the “common home” of LHU. He encouraged students to strive diligently in their studies and continuously develop essential skills throughout their four-year university journey.

LHU Merchandise Booth – A Real Business Experience for Students

In a lively and friendly atmosphere, freshmen were introduced to their academic advisors and received attractive gifts from the Faculty. The event aimed to help new students quickly adapt to their new environment and build effective study plans.

Notably, the LHU Merchandise Booth allowed students to experience real business operations. In addition to games such as the Loto show organized by the FAIE Youth Union – Student Association Executive Board, the event also featured a Market Place. At the Market Place, students had the opportunity to run their own booths and engage in commercial activities. This activity enabled them to apply classroom knowledge to practice, strengthen teamwork, and build connections across classes.

The beverage marketing team impressively attracting customers

The booths offered a wide range of products, from food and beverages to university souvenirs. Students showcased cooking skills worthy of “MasterChef” and drink-mixing talents comparable to professional bartenders. With enthusiastic marketing efforts, customers could hardly resist the appealing offers. Moreover, with student-friendly prices ranging from only 5,000 to 10,000 VND, quality products were accessible to everyone.

    Delicious dishes prepared by “MasterChefs”

Through organizing and participating in the Market Place, students became more open, practiced teamwork skills, and developed entrepreneurial thinking. They learned how to calculate costs, manage investments, and generate profits both individually and collectively. This event provided an opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge in a fun and practical setting. It even created opportunities for students to build friendships—and perhaps more—through collaborative business activities.

The program brought joy, laughter, and valuable hands-on lessons that can only be gained through direct experience. It is hoped that this event serves as a meaningful starting point for students to confidently pursue academic excellence, develop professional skills, unleash creativity, and fully enjoy their university years at the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics, Lac Hong University.
