    ABSTRACT

The year 2024 marks a significant milestone with the introduction and enforcement of legal documents such Law Electronic Transactions 2023, Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2023, and a series of other new legal regulations, highlighting the increasing attention and emphasis on consumer protection in e-commerce. These regulations not only establish a clear and stringent legal framework but also meet practical requirements in the context of the rapid development of e-commerce. However, some issues remain that need to be addressed, such as the declining consumer satisfaction with online commerce, the misuse of customers' personal information, and especially the need for a dispute resolution mechanism and more effective coordination among dispute resolution agencies. The purpose of this article is to comprehensively provide the current legal regulations on consumer protection in e-commerce, assess the current situation, and propose solutions through research from various countries around the world.
