Thesis Defense Council – Cohort 2019.

On November 4, 2022, the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE) successfully organized the Graduation Thesis Defense for the Class of 2019, Academic Year 2022–2023. The defense sessions were conducted in both morning and afternoon rounds, divided into different sub-committees at Campus 2 of Lac Hong University.

Council Meeting Before the Defense Session

After five months of internship at various organizations, students of the Class of 2019 from FAIE were equipped with valuable knowledge that combined theory and practice. During this period, they collected data and relevant information to complete their internship reports and graduation theses.

At the defense panels, many students confidently presented their reports, having carefully prepared their full written thesis, PowerPoint slides, and responses to anticipated questions from the evaluation committee. However, some students still showed limitations that need improvement, particularly in selecting appropriate content, organizing information, and presenting verified and specific data. In certain cases, figures were inconsistent or lacked clear validation. Students are encouraged to further enhance their presentation skills and public speaking abilities.

At the conclusion of the defense sessions, many students felt emotional as their months of effort and dedication marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new journey. The Faculty and the University remain committed to supporting graduates by facilitating job placement aligned with their fields of study. This continued support helps ensure that Class of 2019 graduates feel confident and well-prepared after completing their academic and research journey at the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics, Lac Hong University.
