Whether it is the vibrant blossoms of spring, the blazing heat of summer, the gentle warmth of autumn, or the chilly drizzle of late-year days, there are always those who quietly dedicate themselves, tirelessly working regardless of sunshine or rain. With a piece of chalk in hand, they open up new worlds and gateways of knowledge, teaching us valuable lessons and fascinating insights. They teach us how to live, how to grow, and how to become better individuals. We should cherish those precious moments with friends and teachers, for they are youthful memories that no amount of money can ever buy.
In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and the 25th Anniversary of Lac Hong University, the FAIE Youth Union organized an online wall-newspaper design contest themed “Gratitude to the Boatman” – a symbolic tribute to teachers. The meaningful theme not only created a platform for students to express their creativity but also allowed them to show their deep respect and appreciation for their lecturers.
In addition, on November 18, 2022, the FAIE Youth Union held a ceremony commemorating the 40th Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. The event was attended by lecturers of the Faculty and a large number of students.
The program began at 2:00 PM and included various activities such as team building, a Loto show, and a market fair. These activities enhanced class solidarity and gave students the opportunity to run small business booths featuring products of their choice. The event helped strengthen relationships among students within the Faculty, relieve stress after intense study hours, and recharge energy for upcoming examinations.
Despite unfavorable weather during the team-building activities, students enthusiastically participated without hesitation. Even the rain could not dampen the spirit of FAIE students. This demonstrated that they are not only diligent in their studies but also active and energetic in extracurricular activities.
Each activity concluded with well-deserved rewards in recognition of students’ efforts. Congratulations to the three winning classes in the team-building competition:
First Prize: Class 21QT111
Second Prize: Class 22MK111
Third Prize: Class 20NT111
As every program must eventually come to an end, we would like to extend our heartfelt wishes to our devoted teachers – the “boatmen” guiding generations across the river of knowledge – wishing them good health, happiness, and continued success in their noble mission of educating and shaping future generations.
