With the goal of integrating practical application throughout the entire academic program, from the very first semester the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE) has organized hands-on learning sessions for Marketing students. On December 13, 2022, FAIE, with the support of the Marketing Club, held a workshop for first-year Marketing students—one of the newest and most attractive majors for high school graduates at Lac Hong University, Dong Nai.
The workshop featured two main speakers. PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE – guided students in identifying target customer personas based on business products that had been pre-assigned to each group for preparation.
After defining the target customer personas, with the support of Mr. Le Van Nam, Director of Happy Success Education Media Company, students received detailed guidance on optimizing their fan pages—from naming conventions and product images to content development—and practiced basic steps to launch advertising campaigns.
During more than three hours of practical learning, thanks to prior preparation, students were highly engaged and attentive, actively applying the speakers’ instructions.
In the near future, FAIE in collaboration with the Marketing Club will continue organizing more practical activities for students in accordance with the annual Marketing training plan. The objective is to train students to become professional marketers while they are still at university. To achieve this goal, in addition to the university’s strong commitment and investment, cooperation and support from businesses also play a crucial role in the training process.
