    PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Project Advisor of the Third Prize Winner at the Nam A Bank Open Banking Innovation Competition.

    On October 15, 2022, at The Adora Center Convention Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, the Final Round of the Nam A Bank Open Banking Innovation Competition was held, featuring impressive presentations from five finalist teams. Among them was Team Thien Tin from Lac Hong University (LHU) with the project titled “Transparent Scholarship Fund Application for Lac Hong University.”

    Under the mentorship of PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Member of the National Advisory Council for Innovative Startups (VSMA); Member of the Executive Board of the Southern Startup Advisory and Support Council; Member of the Coordination and Support Council for the Dong Nai Innovation Startup Ecosystem; Member of the Dong Nai Women Startup Club; Head of Innovation and Startup Activities at LHU; Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE); Lecturer of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC); and certified startup trainer under SIYB, CEFE, ACSE, IPP, MEP programs – the project was strategically oriented with strong commercialization potential.

    With a focused, in-depth presentation and sharp rebuttals, Team Thien Tin successfully advanced through multiple qualifying rounds to reach the final stage of the competition.

    Alongside other innovative technology ecosystem ideas, Team Thien Tin delivered an outstanding performance on stage, energizing the audience with remarkable confidence and impressive transformation. Their sharp responses to the judging panel, combined with enthusiastic cheers of “Lac Hong University” from fellow students, further fueled their determination and competitive spirit under the motto “Determined to Compete – Determined to Win.”

    As a result, Team Thien Tin (LHU) successfully impressed the judges and won Third Prize at the Nam A Bank Open Banking Innovation Competition (note: no First Prize was awarded).

    In recent years, startup projects by LHU students and alumni have consistently received guidance from PhD Nguyen Van Tan, particularly in product commercialization strategies—identifying target customers, developing pricing policies, and bringing products closer to the market. Beyond technical development, commercialization plays a crucial role. Only when a product reaches customers can it generate revenue, profit, benefits for investors, and opportunities for market expansion.

    This achievement reaffirms the enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, technological competence, and strong critical thinking skills of both lecturers and students at Lac Hong University. It also represents a well-deserved result of continuous preparation and dedication, serving as momentum for LHU students to strive for even greater accomplishments in future competitions.
