    Tourism and Travel Management Major Provides Guidance on Meeting Space Preparation.

    In order to meet the requirements of quality programmes and meetings, and to enhance professionalism in work performance, on the morning of 1 February 2023, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) coordinated with the Tourism and Travel Management major under FAIE to organize a training and guidance session on meeting space preparation for janitorial staff working at the University.

    The session was attended by:

    • PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE; Party Cell Secretary;

    • MB Phan Van Hai – Head of Division of Tourism Administration and Management;

    • MB Vu Duc Cuong – Head of Division of Tourism Operations and Tour Guiding;

    • MB Vu Van Tuan – Deputy Head of OSA;

    • Along with lecturers and more than 30 janitorial staff members working at the University.

    At the training session, janitorial staff were guided and shared methods for cleaning cups and glasses through various steps and techniques to ensure aesthetic appeal and a positive impression for users. In addition to cleaning, lecturers also actively shared guidance on arranging tables, chairs, and meeting spaces.

    Since 2021, most strategic partners, enterprises, and units collaborating and working with the University have been foreign enterprises and clients. This requires that organizational work play an important role, and that working spaces and departments must be truly well-prepared and professional.

    Using manual, natural, and easy-to-apply methods such as lemon, toothpaste, warm water, and vinegar...

    In addition to its role as a cooking ingredient, vinegar can be used to clean ceramic cups and glassware. The steps are as follows:

    • Pour vinegar into the cup and soak for approximately 15 minutes.

    • Then gently scrub the surfaces of the cup to remove long-standing stains.

    • Finally, rinse again with warm water.

    The acid in vinegar not only helps whiten discolored glassware but also has the ability to eliminate residual beverage odors. This method is particularly recommended for glasses used to drink white wine.

    Salt is an ingredient always available in Vietnamese kitchens. In addition to being used as a seasoning, salt can also be used to clean glassware effectively and in an environmentally friendly manner. It is recommended to use coarse salt instead of refined salt and follow these steps:

    • Put a small amount of salt into the stained glass.

    • Then use a brush or your fingers to scrub.

    • Finally, rinse with clean water.

    The cleaning effect of lemon is certainly familiar to many homemakers. The citric acid contained in fresh lemon has strong cleaning properties and is commonly extracted for use in chemical products such as dishwashing liquid. In addition, fresh lemon juice effectively removes stains and odors from glassware.

    The method for cleaning stained glassware with lemon is also very simple:

    • Cut the lemon into thin slices.

    • Rub the slices over both the inside and outside surfaces of the glass.

    • Wait approximately 10–15 minutes, then rinse again with warm water. Old glassware will become clean and shiny as when newly purchased.

    Another completely natural method for cleaning stained glassware is the use of baking soda. One tablespoon of baking soda mixed with water can remove stubborn stains from glassware. To apply this method, soak the glass with baking soda solution for about 10–15 minutes, then use a soft cloth to scrub. This powder softens and effectively removes persistent stains. Finally, rinse again with warm water.

    The training session concluded at 10:30 on the same day.
