PhD Nguyen Van Tan Shares at the Startup Academy Program “The Art of Investment Fundraising”.

The Tra Vinh Provincial Business Incubator organized Session 12 of its program to introduce fundamental concepts and methods related to fundraising, explore available funding sources, and create networking opportunities for individuals and organizations seeking investment capital. Participating and sharing at the program was PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Head of the Training and Consulting Division of the National Southern Startup Council, and Dean of The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University.

During the session, participants were introduced by the expert to the project development and fundraising process, including: customer discovery, customer validation, customer creation, and company building. Through this, participants were guided on how to approach and interact with potential customers, assess and verify the feasibility of business ideas, establish relationships and build trust with customers, as well as develop enterprises based on an understanding of customer needs and expectations.

In addition, participants engaged in practical exercises under the guidance of the expert. Throughout this process, they were provided with examples and exercises closely related to fundraising models. They also watched videos featuring startups that successfully raised capital. Through these activities, participants had the opportunity to learn from experience and apply strategies to initiate the fundraising process effectively.

According to the expert: “Fundraising is a process that every startup must undergo to develop its project and ensure the sustainability of the enterprise. Participants need to master the fundraising steps in order to apply them and develop strategies to approach potential investors more effectively.”
